Phenomenally beautiful elevated Snowshoe hiking tour in ideally suited terrain, with breathtaking views of the peaks of the Three Thousanders of the High Tauern Range (Hohen Tauern) and of the entire Kitzbuehel Range. We begin at the upper Carpark of Steinplatte at 1374m. We start with a gentle uphill walk past the Durchkaseralmen huts onto our highest point of 1513m at the Windbichl. Walking through light alpine forest rising and falling along the undulating landscape until we return to our starting point again. Ascent Vertical meters, 300-500m (depends on the day's whimsy!). Price: 250€ for guiding and organisation, Snowshoe rental incl. poles 10€ extra per person.
