Harschbichl via Kröpfalm 1604 m A front country/side country tour, ideal for beginners or during bad weather, on avalanche danger days, or even those times with little snow cover. We begin our tour at the Alpine restaurant Grander Schupf which lies at 825m above sea level. We start gently uphill along the slopes and after only 15 minutes we leave the resort boundaries and find ourselves in open terrain. Through meadows and forests, always heading slightly uphill, we reach the magical Kröpfelalm. Enjoy magnificent views of the Lofer and Leogang mountain ranges and of course, the Wilder Kaiser during a short rest there. Next is the final leg up to the Harschbichl Restaurant, where we stop for a well-earned break. From here it is possible to ski down either on the slopes or off-piste in sidecountry.
