We follow the Wildalmgraben (Aurach) along the valley and climb the track to the left over relatively steep alpine pastures, first past the Niederwildalm, then up to the Hochwildalm hut at 1557m, before we cross right following the signpost a few meters below the hut , heading down a little before crossing the steep NW slope below Schotting. We then head in a large arc through a sparse forest into the open country below the summit. The summit ascent leads from the south over the ridge to the highest point. The descent offers a choice of routes ... A great Tour in a beautiful landscape...
